Both lanes reopened by noontime after a crash involving an overturned car and two others vehicles caused gridlock on a stretch of I-87 near the new Tappan Zee Bridge late Friday morning.
The southbound incident occurred around 10:15 a.m. at Exit 9 (Route 9) with stopped traffic at the scene and Westchester-bound delays stretching back over the span.
